![]() We had a wonderful stay at the Le Meridian hotel. Where I received superb libations (Bloody Mary was incredible, as were a few drinks on the menu the names of which I now forget), and incredible service from the bartenders Mayra, Ji, Erika. While I'd usually do all of my drinking in one of the many bars/restaurants nearby I found myself frequenting the hotel lobby bar. The staff was particularly welcoming and nice. Bonus there's a fridge beyond the mini bar for food you're going to be taking back to the room, and in the lobby there's a clean microwave that's accessible to the public. ![]() The rooms were Clean and spacious enough (stayed in Classic Room, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking, View). Yet when you're in the outdoors courtyard or looking from your hotel room window, there's not much foot traffic/crazy going on. Down the block from the Mississippi river and a few blocks from a mall. This hotel is a ~5 minute walk from the French quarter/bourbon street. I came out to celebrate my mothers birthday and wanted to be close to all of the action, without being TOO close to all of the action. This was my second time staying in New Orleans and by a long shot my preferred hotel accommodations.
